Mr. and Mrs. Spurgeon

Mr. Spurgeon is one of my favorite reformed dead guys to read. I know that may sound crude but we have a book store locally that is affectionately called The Dead Man's Book Store. All the authors have been gone for a long time. I just stumbled across this post about him and his wife Mrs. Susannah Spurgeon . Enjoy!

P.S. I think I figured out how to hyper link. I am really proud of myself ;o)

It is almost funny that I have not even thought about the possibility that Spurgeon was married! Isn't there a fabulous saying that behind every good man is a good woman? :+) Or, as my husband likes to say, "I may be the head, but you are the neck." That is just the sweetest thing to me. :+)

Thanks for the link!

I've always wanted to open a little Reformed Bookstore/Reading Room. Dead Theologians is one of the names I've thought of!

Congrats for learning how to hyperlink! I still have to look it up everytime I do it manually.
